Turning fiction into reality as you take a step into the enchanted forest attraction, visitors will forget about the real world for the moment and walk through a forest only seen in movies and books. Living in a society that is consuming more and more energy every day, it creates the breeding ground for behaviors that can become destructive to the Earth’s environment. To relieve the stresses that one may feel from such society and encourage healthy behaviors, our space is designed to exude magical, peaceful themes that will remind viewers the beauty of nature.

Reaction to game: Depression Quest

1. What is my react
my reaction is simple. the games i played was depression quest and being a person that deals with depression it really put it into a wide perspective. it shows what your character goes through and most of the answers you choose are either i feel like i just want to do nothing anymore. or i'll just force myself. my reaction to this is that i'm surprised that they captured depression so well. it's a great game and i loved to play it. it was very addicting to play and you really really never know what the character was going to do once you choose a passage. so overall my reaction is surprised and positive.

2. what connections with you able to make with the story
Like I said in the passage before I deal with depression myself and have always found ways to overcome it. but just like in this story it will always have a chance to wrap around you once again.
there was a part about the character having to work on a project. but one out of the 3 passages you could choose was that you should work on it. I choose that one, to see where it went and it was very accurate. you try to get work done thinking of something to type but as soon as you touch the computer it all leave your head and you end up sitting there thinking of something that will never come. meanwhile you end up checking social media or going on youtube and you find out hours have passed, and you got very little done.
That's Life. That's Depression.

3. what changes would you make to adapt this story into another medium. what mediums to use, what changes to make.
this is a great story to play and leaving it where it is story wise is a great idea but evolving it visually would be great. this game would be a great telltale game.  the vivid environments that also help tell the story, and make your decisions that impact the story in the future. the game itself really could gain a huge audience and could also be the one game to show what depression is really like. I was not able to play though the whole game ut depending on the length of the game it could very well be extended or shortened. those are the only changes I would make.

Worldbuilding Planet KEMA

The Planet Kema

On the planet KEMA, there are no seasons. The middle of the planet is a brutal hot desert during the day and cools during the night. The north and south poles are extremely cold and have very little daylight.  There are only a few trees at the end of the poles closest to the middle of the planet.  The area between the desert and the poles is mixed, there are areas with lush forests, fresh water and there is one ocean. But, there are also areas that are toxic to humans.  People and animals live in most areas of the planet and have evolved and adapted to the extreme temperatures they may face.  People must be self-sufficient. They must grow their own food, collect water to drink and rely totally on solar for energy and travel. There are no natural resources on the planet.

Oz World

THE VILLAGE OF BARKINGTON - IN THE LAND OF OZ
On the outer edges of Emerald Cities limits surrounded by a small mote was a town, built After the upheaval in and around The City, the dogs that were pets of the residents were displaced. The Village of Barkington was formed and is the town where all of those dogs now live.
The people of Emerald City wanted their dogs to live in luxury and safety. There are no roads, the entire area is a blanket of the softest of green grass with tall trees scattered around. There is a big shallow pool with lots of toys and a small slide for playing. The area around the pool is cushioned so the dog’s pads do not get bruised or burned. There is a huge playground scattered throughout the green grass field of Barkington with golden play castles, whoops to jump through and lots of things to jump over and run around. All of the dogs live together in “Barkington Manor”. Each family of dogs has their own private room with carpet on the floors, a private tub, super soft memory foam dog beds, food and water bowls that fill at the touch of a paw and fresh treats are delivered daily. Everyday someone comes to the Village to make sure the dogs are groomed and well taken care of. The Village of Barkington is open to visitors any time, day or night, and the dogs love to see their owners and play with them. The town was also a place for dogs that had lost their owners during the attack. Thus, every week people from the City would also come and adopt the dogs that had no owners anymore. In Barkington It is sunny every day except one day each week where it will rain. The dogs will go out and play in the rain, they will run and jump and get soaking wet. The Village of Barkington is a furtastic place.
